By this time of the year, everyone's Christmas tree has already been taken down (at least the grand majority). If you haven't taken yours down, then what are you waiting for? For Santa to make another presents run? Right now he's probably relaxing in Hawaii with Mrs. Claus and it's not even summer yet.
Following reports of suspected traces of Christmas tree remains, a local cartoonist has been questioned regarding the matter. "Listen, I took my tree down almost as soon as January hit," says the cartoonist, who is a husband and a father of four. "I have two dogs and a cat, so maybe they ended up spreading some leaves here and there but I swear there is no tree in here anymore."
The discovery of these remains were made by none other than his children. When interviewed about the situation, the eldest son had this to say: "We were playing with our toys in the living room and we kept finding green stuff all over the ground. It still smelled like Christmas! Does that mean Santa is coming back to give us more presents??"
Hopefully they have all the milk and cookies in the world so Santa can come out of his vacation.
