Last night, our very own Patrick McDonnell of Mutts had a live panel to promote his new book The Art of Nothing: 25 Years of Mutts, where he is joined by Chip Kidd. The book is a celebration of the heartfelt laughs and deep care for animals that the strip has given us over the past two decades. In the panel, McDonnell discusses his beginnings in drawing, his start in the business, the origin and inspiration for the characters Earl and Mooch, his love and appreciation for Peanuts and Charles Schulz, and many more topics!

He also had a signing event right after the panel. Fans were very eager to meet the prolific cartoonist!

You can watch the entirety of the hour-long panel right below, and you can get your very own copy of his new book (signed by McDonnell himself) right here!
