This past weekend my wife, Karen, and I attended the annual Fall Meeting of the Southeast Chapter of the National Cartoonists Society of which I am honored to be a member. This year's meeting was in beautiful Knoxville, Tennessee. Here are some photos from the weekend: A motley crew of inkslingers! In this photo, I am drawing Snuffy Smith for oncology clinic patient Lucas Salyers, 7, of Kingsport, on Friday at East Tennessee Children's Hospital. This hospital visit was a true highlight of weekend for the cartoonists who were able to attend. Please see the Knoxville News-Sentinel's wonderful story and video of our visit here.
