This later entry revisits the original gag formula of a pizza-induced fantasy. The “fat watchers” coming to the rescue in panel #7 is a reference to Weight Watchers, an organization that was founded in 1963 and marketed products and services to people who were trying to shed pounds. It continues to operate in about thirty countries around the world.
