Chip Flagston had a job delivering newspapers from 1970 to 1975. Here are two strips from this period that show him on his route. Hi and Lois daily strips, November 13, 1970 and January 15, 1972. After a few years working as a paper boy, Chip started to get a little disillusioned. Being outdone by a paper girl didn’t help. Hi and Lois daily strips, March 28, 1973 and October 14, 1975. Hi and Lois daily strips, March 28, 1973 and October 14, 1975. In the last strip, he admitted to his father that he was thinking of giving up his job. He wanted to get his life back to normal.
