Mike Peters has been a nationally syndicated editorial cartoonist for more than 30 years. He graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Washington University and immediately began his career on the art staff of the Chicago Daily News. As the editorial cartoonist for the Dayton Daily News, Peters’ work is syndicated to more than 400 newspapers worldwide. In 1981, Peters won the Pulitzer Prize for editorial cartooning. He won the 2017 Reubens award for best newspaper comic strip (“Mother Goose & Grimm”). His work frequently appears in such publications as Newsweek, Time, U.S. News & World Report and The New Republic. He is a popular lecturer and makes appearances at editor and publisher conventions, on the college lecture circuit and before political groups.
